These maps of Salisbury, Maryland from circa 1932 were used by real estate developer, Richard Hodgson. The detailed maps, likely based on Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, were filled in to identify nearly every property owner in the city from individual dwellings to corporate owners. There is also a map insert from the late 1950s showing the city of Salisbury with different businesses advertised and located.

The collection contains plants, survey data, samples, reports, and correspondence regarding Ron Wilson and Frank Hirst, two self-taught botanists, and their work for The Nature Conservancy, a national preservationist organization, from 1978 to 2021. Also included is an extensive herbarium of native Delmarva plant species compiled by both Wilson and Hirst. The work in the collection covers botanizing throughout New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps of Salisbury, Hebron, and Mardela Springs, Maryland, as well as Ocean City, Maryland. These maps document the roads, facilities, and physical structures of the region in detail. Includes a reproduction of the 1888 map and original copies of maps from 1931; physical additions to the 1931 map were made in 1942, 1946, and 1951. The Ocean City map originally dates to 1936 and additions were made in 1941.
Sea Gull Century collection

The Sea Gull Century began in 1989 with less than 100 riders. It was originally hoted by the Salisbury State Cycling Club. The Century now accommodates roughly 7000 riders and has been nationally ranked. Proceeds from the Century are donated to various local organizations. Both 63-mile and 100-mile races have been offered in the past, along with minor races on the Friday afternoon before and the Sunday morning after the major race. The majority of the Sea Gull Century collection consists of publicity documents, including press releases and newspaper clippings. The collection also includes other documents including brochures, maps, patches, and photographs. Documents from other bike rallies hosted by Salisbury University, though not affiliated with the Sea Gull Century, are present in the collection. Such rallies include the 1988 GEAR UP Bike Convention and the 1989, 1992, 1993, and 1994 Bike Rallies hosted by Salisbury University. Press releases in many of the series were paired with their corresponding newspaper articles.
