The Andrew Serrell photograph collection documents the personal and professional interests of Andrew Serrell, commercial pilot and aerial photographer. The digital and print photographs document Worcester County, Maryland and surrounding areas of the Eastern Shore, including the Delaware coastal region. The majority of the photographs focus on construction and land developments including Ocean Pines, Route 113, Ocean City, and area golf courses from 1987-2012 with the bulk of the photographs taken from 1999-2001. Many of the images were used for business and commercial use.

The earliest article is a sale advertisement for a house in Salisbury, Maryland. Ocean City postcards from around the 1970s show hotels and aerial views of Ocean City. There are also menus and postcards from restaurants in Ocean City. The Wicomico High yearbook, from 1927, includes pictures of the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior class. Two high school diplomas from Wicomico County from 1920 and 1926. Farm records, shareholding records and family books give insight to the life of a family living around the Lower Eastern Shore. Finally this collection includes a number of pens and pencils listing the names and addresses of local businesses. As well as information on the local Salisbury baseball team in 1948, local campaign items and cards from local attractions.

Bascom worked agricultural odd jobs, received contract teaching positions, and assisted with various religious projects. Having lived in both Ogden, New York and Durham, New York, Boscom's diary also reflects on the impact that the Erie Canal had on him and his family.

The Duvall and Williams families were community-oriented people who served as farmers, doctors, and attorneys from Kennedyville, Kent County, Maryland, and Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland as well as northern Delaware. Within the Duvall and Williams Families collection are family photograph albums, ledgers, a scrapbook, and ephemera. The photograph albums dating to the 1880s to 1950s offer a glimpse into the lives of the families. The primary focus of the collection is the series of photographs that depict farm life, a Methodist Church Camp Meeting one of the families attended, family vacations, their pets, and farm animals. The ledgers date from the 1850s to the 1890s and pertain to farming on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and Delaware’s New Castle County. The scrapbook dates from the early 1800s to 1900 and contains newspaper clippings from the Mid-Atlantic region.
