Flag-Waving
A frequent propaganda technique used during wartime is an appeal to action out of a sense of patriotic duty. The message is often conveyed through the use of flags or other symbols of national pride. Patriotic pride is a powerful emotion and can be used to prompt action that may require personal sacrifice but is for the greater good and benefit to a country, group, or idea.
