Demonization
This form of propaganda dehumanizes the opposition and presents them as monstrous. Depicting the enemy as an evil, destructive aggressor can instigate hatred and make it easier to rationalize harming or killing them, particularly during times of war. This device reduces any complexity about the enemy’s motives to one simple factor – the enemy is purely evil.
