Hunting and Trapping

The Delmarva region is home to a variety of wildlife that have provided beauty and sustenance for generations. Traditions and customs developed as people hunted and trapped for pleasure or to support their families. The area is known for waterfowl including mallards, canvasbacks, black ducks, pintails, and geese, to name a few. It is also well known for turkey, quail, deer, muskrat, fox, and beaver.
