The Charles Cole Collection includes a school registry from public school number 3, located near the community of West, dated from the year 1909-1916. It is a list of students, and teachers as well as their grades and attendance throughout the school year. There are four different teachers listed in the registry, each teaching a different year with a different set of students. Those teachers were Bessie Pollitt, Helen Pusey, Delsie Fooks, and Carl Powell.

The Richard and Jane Yantis collection consists of the genealogical research notes of Richard and Jane Yantis from 1994-2011. The collection offers insight into the genealogies of several dozen families, including the Brittingham and Fooks families of Maryland. It includes copies of tithtables for Northampton County, Virginia from 1662-1677, and a Bible from the Hurst family of Dorchester County, Maryland. The Bible contains genealogical information on the Hurst family from 1821-1910.

The Robert E. Perdue Family papers document the ancestors of Robert E. Perdue Jr. His branch of the family lived in the lower Delmarva region, with a majority living in Pittsville, Wicomico County, Maryland. As time progressed the Perdue’s married into other families such as the Jones, Williams, Dennis, and Taylors. The Pittsville Perdue’s played an important part in building the St. John Friendship Methodist church. Research materials include land records, genealogy conducted by Robert E Perdue in the pursuit of his family history. Research was conducted from 2004-2011, with the bulk being completed in 2009-2010. Perdue’s research spans from the 17th century to the 20th century.

Roy C. Pollitt papers

Pollitt’s papers serve as a genealogical study of the history of the Pollitt family on the East Coast. Two-thirds of the collection is devoted to files on family members and related genealogies; the other third divided between correspondence, submissions to his short-lived newsletter "Old Somersett" and photocopies of records from the Maryland State Archives in Annapolis. Pollitt’s family files are comprised of an assortment of record types. Not only do many files contain charts for a particular individual’s family branch, but copies of birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, wills, military papers, newspaper clippings and land records. Thus, his collection offers a unique perspective of the Pollitt family from the 17th to the 20th century. His correspondence displays a genuine interest in genealogy and a willingness to assist others with their research pursuits. Frequently, correspondents sent him copies of their own family histories.

The collection contains advertising, correspondence, photographs, periodicals and ephemera offering insight into the Gunby family and into business and civic life on the Delmarva Peninsula. It includes photographs of L.W. Gunby and of Joseph A. Graham, the editor of the Kansas City Times. It also includes a notebook of original poetry by S. Norris Pilchard Jr. and correspondence and periodicals from S. Norris Pilchard III's service in the United States’ Navy during the Second World War.
