The Vinson and Buck collection is made up of the personal papers and artifacts of the Buck family. The collection contains personal documents dating back to 1838 and includes the records and belongings of several families related to the Bucks, including: the Allens, the Gorrells, the Raudenbushes, the Klines, the Jennings and the Phillips. The bulk of the collection is made up of photographs that document Leonard Buck’s time in the military, the travels and home life of the Buck family, and local history. Other items include religious papers, personal and business correspondence, and family mementos.

This collection contains photographs both taken by and collected by Walter C. Thurston, a skilled local photographer. Included in this collection are color and black and white photographs and negatives of aerial, street and city-scape views of Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland and surrounding regions including Somerset, Dorchester and Worcester Counties and Sussex County, Delaware. The collection of images captures local businesses, school buildings, public events, neighborhoods, and area attractions from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s. Also included in the collection are historic photographs of Salisbury and the Delmarva Peninsula dating back to the 1850s that Thurston collected.

A letter from after the reunion with a list of the attendees in the photograph is also included.

Wicomico High School, or "Wi Hi" is one of the four public high schools in Wicomico County, Maryland, and enrolls grades 9 through 12. This series of black and white photographic prints document the activities of the students at Wicomico High School, Salisbury, Maryland, 1944. Images depict different school groups or clubs including the class photographs of the senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman classes. An additional photograph of the Salisbury Municipal Park, taken in 1947, is also included with the set of photographs.
