The papers of Azariah Pusey document the last will and testament of John Pusey, his grandfather, in which he was bequeathed a plot of land called Hog Quarter in Somerset County, Maryland, 1851. A corresponding survey documents the land from Friendship Church to the west side of the road and was completed in 1875.

The Hughes and Pusey Family Collection contains one folder of newspaper clippings relating to the activities of members of the Hughes and Pusey family from 1952 to 1998. Included are wedding announcements and obituaries. There are also several photographs of Jane Hughes, two school pictures from an old one room schoolhouse and two class pictures from Wicomico High School.There is also a memorial program for Max P. Hughes. There are also three newspaper clippings from 1972 to 1999 about Captain Claude V. Hughes, captain of the R. E. Powell, the ship Chandlery of Vane Brothers and the book Time and the Tide that highlights the company. In addition, there is the 1910 Wicomico High School diploma of Mary Elizabeth Pusey, wife of V. V. Hughes.
