The Miles family papers document the Upper Fairmount, Somerset County, Maryland family from 1862 to 2010, though primarily from the 1880s to the 1940s. The correspondence, photographs, business records, church records, and more center around Harry B. Miles and Elizabeth (Thomas) Miles, as well as their children, Harry Budd and Betty J., and other Thomas and Miles family members. From 1916 to 1961, Harry Miles served as one of Somerset County's primary undertakers. The family also played a role in managing the Upper Fairmount Methodist Episcopal Church

Retail ledger from an unknown oyster supply store once located in Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland, 1910-1915. The ledger is indexed alphabetically with purchaser's names; their supply purchases and financial responsibilities were noted on their designated pages. Local oyster industries also purchased goods from the retailer; these purchases which included crates, lumber and rope are noted in the back of the folio. Noted companies include John L. Handy Company, Whealton and Company, and A.E. Tull Oyster Company.

Physician's Day Journal

Records of the City of Salisbury City Clerk

The Records of the City of Salisbury City Clerk include 12 ledgers containing the city's charter, ordinances, and meeting minutes from 1869 to 2010. The collection also contains loose ordinances passed from 1890 to 2019 and loose meeting minutes that document City Hall activities from 1924 to 1952. Until 1924, the records were handwritten; from 1924 to 2010, records are typescript. From 2010 to present, records are born-digital. Also included in these records is the 1932 Bicentennial Celebration's signature register. Includes records from M-216 #3 and #4.
