The Elmer Ruark papers document the religious work of the former mayor of Salisbury, Maryland. The collection spans Ruarkās research into the history of Allen Memorial Baptist Church of Salisbury. In addition, the records include research and publications related to Rev. Noah Davis, founder of the Baptist Publication Society; Elmer Ruark and Noah Davis are distant relatives. The collection dates from 1830-1970 with the bulk of the material dating from 1930-1958.

The Old School Baptist Church records consist of manuscript materials and periodicals documenting the faith and practices of the Old School Baptist Churches on the Delmarva Peninsula from 1701-2013, with the bulk of the records dating from 1875 to 1999. The collection includes meeting minutes of the Forest Grove, Little Creek, Broad Creek, Salisbury, Rewastico, Nassaongo, Snow Hill, Rock Springs, Indiantown, and Pitts Creek Old School Baptist Churches from 1799-2013. The collection also includes a complete run of Signs of the Times, the journal of the Old School Baptist faith, from 1875-1969.

The Snow Hill Baptist Church Collection contains information on the Old School Baptist Church in Snow Hill, Maryland. Included is a smaller pamphlet with a brief history, accompanying photographs, and writings from the rectors themselves titled "Bicentennial Celebration of the Welsh Tract Church." Also included are miscellaneous historical writings, many without authors or dates of writing. The validity of these texts is therefore unknown, however many of them were used by Sylvia Bradley and other researchers: the document of such research is included as well.
