Series III contains personal and career information plus curriculum vitae. Civic matters, politics, Lion’s Club, United Way, and general Delmarva dedications are contained in Series IV. The last series contains material on legal, estate, and financial matters.

William Wilson Cambridge Education Papers and Ephemera

This collection contains education papers and other ephemera from Cambridge, Maryland between 1893 and 1940. Included are two deeds to and from John Wheatley dated 1893 and 1911; a Maryland Public School Register from Dorchester County dating from 1911 to 1916, including loose notes and items; an education publication from 1929 entitled "The Sea Surf"; a 1939 publication entitled "New York World's Fair Views"; a 1940 US Department of Commerce publication entitled "Digest of Civil Air Regulations for Pilots"; and several Cambridge newspapers (Cambridge Record, Daily Banner, Democrat and News, and an issue of Philadelphia Record) from 1908 to 1940.

Wilmer O. Lankford III papers

The papers of Wilmer O. Lankford III encompass his research materials and original manuscripts of his four-volume book, They Lived in Somerset; including Lankford family documents such as Wilmer’s Western Maryland College scrapbook, as well as facsimiles and transcripts of church records, from Somerset County, Maryland, 1894-2008. Additional components include Rev. William Colbert’s account of his travels in Somerset County from 1801-1807, and the diary of Ida Marshall Lankford that reflects the lynching of Isaac Kemp for the murder of Constable Ned Carver.
