Abstract of Record Indenture between Levin D. Collier, Joseph Windsor & James Bounds as judges of the 1st District Court of Somerset County on the first part. Levin Purnell, 5 yo on 22 October 1841, son of Ailsy Purnell, free woman of colour, who was sold by virtue of said court; Levin is apprenticed to John H. Leonard to learn domestivc work of a farmer. To serve until 22 Oct 1859 when 21 yo; to receive $10 or value thereof at end of term.
