Abstract Information about the Enslaved Person/People Simon Wilmer Rector or Christ Church and Chapel of St. John's Parish, Prince George & Charles Counties Maryland. The greater part of estate was wife's (Mary Eleanor) before their marriage and she will be steward to make proper distribution of same. As it respects the colored people, it is my desire that those belonging to me in Virginia the children of Sylva shall serve until 25 yo the mother to be free immediately. with Respect to those formerly belonging to my wife, Harry, James & Caroline on account of Costs & expenses should serve 10 yrs from date of this instrument. Ann B. Wilmer, widow of my brother William receiving property. Donations mad eto several societies, includng Maryland Colonization Society. Wife Mary Eleanor sole Executrix of estate.
