An image of a Salt Box house, two young women and one young man resting on a floating dock, and a photograph of African American men laying the foundation for what appears to be decking for road and bridge construction.

Wilson Family House Photograph

This is a photograph of Margaret Virginia Bounds' house. On the back of the photograph it is written that the home was built in the late 18th or early 19th century and was known as the Thomas Wilson place until the Bounds family purchased it in the 1970s. It was located along route 50 east of Mardela Springs, Maryland.

Wye Plantation Architecture Collection

The Wye Plantation Collection contains architectural plans of the Wye Mills plantation dating from 1949 to 1975. The collection includes plans for the renovation of the main house, various auxiliary houses, the library, the garage wing, the Wye Church, the perimeter wall, and the grounds. The collection also contains photographs of the property as well as slides and handwritten notes.
