Abstract | Negroes Will and his wife Pheby shall be free after my death. That Negro Jesse and his wife Cotter and their child Bill shall also be free provided that Jesse complies with a contract heretofore made between him and me and which I now have him charged on book account and if he does not comply, his son Bill to belong to my estate. Jesse to have 5 years to complete the same. Also my other Negroes (devised and not devised) to be free - the males at the age of 33 years and the females at the age of 30 years. But if any of the Negroes prove to be disobedient and run their owners to cost, they shall serve out their expenses after the said time is expired. |
