Abstract | "It is also my will and desire that the Negroes that I have in my possession that is in dispute; if they should fall to me or my Executors [sons John Heaveloe and Roderick Heaveloe], on settlement, to be free at the age of thirty years". The Negro man named Isaac who is 21 years old and 10 months. Isaac to serve my wife during her widowhood and if she should marry, he shall serve my Executor until he free. Also Negro boy named Peter who is 6 years and 3 months old, Peter's time of servitude to be divided between my broters and sisters. That my Executors sholud sell the remaining Negroes, during the time of their servitude, to pay my debts. The remaining Negroes being a girl named Bess (aged 13 years and 6 months), Negro boy named Sam (ages 11 years and 6 months), Negro boy named Harry (aged 9 years and 10 months). |
