Abstract For the sum of 1000 pounds current money, Atkinson conveys to the grantees, all her property being Negro man Jacob, Nego women Judah, Hannah, Negro boy Harry, Negro girl Rhody, Negro girl Esther - the daughter of Dinah, Negro girl Esther - daughter of Hannah, Negro girls Leah, Bridget, Orris, Rachel and also 1/2 part of Negro man Pompey. Also livestock, hhousehold furnity & plantation utensils. Also she agrees to make no demands for a dower or third share of the estate of William Handy or anything more than hemay give her as by will.
