Abstract

This collection consists of posters, broadsides, and pamphlets from India during the Second World War, dating between 1942 and 1945. Included are many National War Front pamphlets and broadsides from 1942 to 1945, 11 posters describing India's involvement in the war in multiple languages, two British fundraising posters, 1944 issues of the Far East Bulletin, 1943 to 1944 issues of Behind the Headlines, 1944 issues of Talking Points , daily background and broadcast broadsheets from 1942, and other miscellaneous ephemera dating between 1942 and 1945.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of posters, broadsides, and pamphlets from India during the Second World War, dating between 1942 and 1945.
