This collection contains the research of family histories in the Delmarva area by Linda Louise Rogers Hamlet. The research consists of photocopied deeds, wills, and indentures; written research from various historical/archival societies; Bible records; newspaper clipping from several local newspapers and photographs. This collection also contains personal artifacts from Louise Rogers Hamlet, including correspondence, birth records, personal achievements, and marriage records.
Linda Louise Rogers Hamlet is a native of the Delmarva region. She graduate from Selbyville High School and got her Bachelor degree in teaching from William and Mary college. She was a teacher for two different Delmarva school systems. When she was 63 years old she married her first and only husband Luther Hamlet. She began the genealogy research of families in the Delmarva area near the end of her teaching career and the beginning of her retirement.
