Abstract

The Barnhouse Photograph collection documents the architecture of the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland including sites such as Furnace Town, Pemberton Hall, and Trinity Chuch, through a series of color photographs dated from 1963, taken by M. R. Barnhouse of Salisbury, Maryland.

Biographical History

M. R. Barnhouse documented homes in Wicomico and Worcester Counties, such as Pemberton Hall and the Samuel Chase river home.

His daughter's name is Gwen Barnhouse Beger.
