Several legacies stated including: to my daughter Betsy Withear Disharoon, home & support and slaves: David, Littleton Metilda & Priscilla; after her death, slaves to go to her daughters, Susan Jones Disharoon & Betsy Eleanor Jones Disharoon. Also: To my granddaughter Betsy Eleanor Jones Disharoon, negro lad Sam Chase. Other items written & crossed out include: To my granddaughter Betsy Dashiell Jones, negro fellow Joe. To my grandson John Quincy Adams Jones, property; Messer, Washington, Cloe, Ann, Lucretia, Rachel, Lydda, Sarah Ann. Next part added after crossed out section: To my grandson John Quincy Adams Jones, negroes; Joe, Messen, Philip, Washington, Ann, girl Sarah Ann. To my son Benjamin Jones, negro Gideon. To granddaughter Amanda Eleanor Jones Dashiell, negro girl Lydda. [Several entries follow regarding determination of correct will.]
