Abstract of Record John Selby, free negro will be 21 yo on 1 March 1861, son of Heney Selby, free negro who is dead and with the consent of Tedy Shepherd his next friend, apprenticed to Ezekiel Gibbons. To learn trade of farming until 21 yo; at expiration of term to receive two suits of wearing apparel, one suitable for Sunday and the other for working days and the sum of $50.
