Abstract of Record Theodore Horsey, free negro boy, 6 yo on 31 August 1847 apprenticed to Levin Beachamp. To learn trade of farmer; at expiration of term to receive freedom suit of clothes worth $10 or that sum in current money. Levin Beachamp to also give Sally Horsey, mother of Theodore, $10 per year commencing when the apprentice arrives at age of 15 and continue the payment of a like sum per year until he reaches 21 yo.
