Transaction Abstract | Indenture due to Act in Maryland General Assembly "an act to provide for the better regulation of free negro and Mullatto children within this state." Edward K. Bramble takes Negro girl Ann Cornish 10 yo, daughter of Roger Cornish & his wife Ann, as apprentice on 18 Feb 1855 to serve as apprentice until she is 16 yo. He is to provide food, clothing & lodging and to teach her the trade of housewifery. She to receive $10 in cash at end of term & $25 in lieu of schooling. |
