Transaction Abstract | William Frazier of Neck District in Dorchester County, manumits the following Negro slaves: woman Ann to be free from & after 25 Dec 1853, girl Sarah Melinda to be free from & after 25 Dec 1873, girl Mary Amanda to be free from & after 25 Dec 1875, girl Eliza Jane to be free from & after 25 Dec 1877. The issue of the said Negroes before the dates at which they set free shall be slaves until such issue arrives at age of 31 years. If any female descendants shall have issue during their periods of service then they shall be slaves until age 31 & then to be free. Signed 8 Apr 1851. |
