Served as pastor in following appointments: Washington Circuit; Easton, Md; Zoar, Philadelphia; Chester, Pa; Ezion, Wilmington; St. John's Newark, N. J. & Haven, Philadelphia. 1875 Presiding Elder of Philadelphia District and of Chestertown District in 1885. Held other offices in the Conference, including President.
