After marriage moved to Baltimore & joined Asbury M. E. Church & was steward & Sunday School Superintendent. Taught school in Worcester County & then went to Vienna charge. Charges: Vienna, Md; Madison, Md; East New Market, Md; Odessa, Del; Mt Joy, Wilmington, Del.; New Castle, Del.; Merchantsville, N. J.; Crisfield, Md; McDaniel, Md.; Oxford, Md; Milford, Del; Seaford, Del.; then Vienna again. Retired at Berlin, Md in 1917. Then June 1918 Sinepuxent charge and East New Market for 2nd time; then passed. Helped get Shiloh church in Crisfield, Md built.
Family and Other Information Parents: Edward Harman, local preacher; mother was granddaughter of Joseph Whittington, first pastor of Ezion M. M. Church of Wilmington, De. Spouse: Sarah Maria Parker
