Church Service, Charges Served, Affiliated Locations, and Other Biographical Information Joined M. E. Church in slave days. Licensed to preach by White M. E. Church of Salisbury; served as preacher many years Delaware Conference formed. When formed in 1864 he joined John Wesley M. E. Church, Phila. Appointed to Salisbury Ct & served extending from Laurel Del to Nanticoke, Md. Appointed to Washington Circuit - from Preston, Caroline Cty to Bucktown, Dorchester Cty, Md. His 2nd year he held 2 camps, 1 in Dorchester & 1 in Caroline Cty. resulting in 80 additions to church. Other charges included Odessa, Del; Port Penn & Delaware City; Centreville, Md (building Charles Wesley M. E. Church; Millington, Kent Cty, Md; Still Pond circuit. In 1881 he superannuated & returned to Centreville, Md; then Millington station & Centreville again., remaining there until wife became an invalid & he moved permanently to Salisbury, Md.
Family and Other Information Spouse: Sarah Ann Houston ,d more than 50 yrs - 8 children- 5 girls & 3 boys. Survived by 1 brother, 3 sons, 2 daughters, several grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. One son was Rev. Charles W. Pullett. Daughter (with whom he lived), Mrs. Mary E. Brom of Salisbury, Md.
