Served some time on man-o-warship in U. S. service. Converted when small boy & joined Mount Zion Methodist Episcopal Church near Port Penn, Del. Early days of Conference joined Old Zoar M. E. Church. Entered Centennary Biblical Institute (Morgan College) in 1874. Later attended Drew Theological Seminary. Appointments: Bridgeton, John Wesley (now Calvary), Germanstown, Mount Zion Barclay and Summervile. |
