Abstract Information about the Enslaved Person/People My Executor shall sell all my personal estate (negroes excepted) and lands….. I giive my wife Susannah Kendall the plantation and also negro man Thomas Sen., woman Judy & Grace & should there need more money to discharge my debts the executor should raise it by hiring out my young negroes for a term of years not to exceed a longer time than they or such of them amy arive to age of 21 yrs by the best of judgm't respecting their ages. if the laws of state will admit their remaining in the state that the negroes hereafter mentioned shall be free at my wife death all that are 21 yrs & others as theyh arrive to that age Namely: Thomas Jun, woman Lotty, her children Sarah & Siller & boy Southy & if they are not by the law allowed t live in the state free people, I then give them to my wife Susannah Kendall to her and hers forever.
