Abstract Information about the Enslaved Person/People note by transcriber - this will does not free a slave, but it mentions as his primary beneficiary, Mary Mifflin, a slave freed by Thomas Parramore, Jr. Land I bought of Griffins' ajoining Salley Satchells & others I lend unto Mary Mifflin a Negro emancipated by Thomas Parramore Jr and now my house keeper as long as she lives plus one shilling a day as long as she lives. I give my cloath's unto negro Samuel which was emancipated by Ant Ann Brickhouse & now lives with me,m I also except my Negro Girl called little or young Mary which I give unto ann Turner formerly Ann Dunton....I also give Negro mary Mifflin one hunddred Dollar's worth of furniture.... my wish that Negro Mary Mifflin should first have what's given to her before any other gift take's place... Signed 20 Feb 1806.
