Abstract Information about the Enslaved Person/People My will & desire is that if my Wife Peggy be with child with a Daughter that it and my Daughter Jane Turner should have five Hundred pounds each to be raised out of the sale's of my personal Estate & Negroe's, but if my wife should not be with child with a Daughter I give unto my Daughter six hundred pounds cash. My will & desire is that my Negro Man Isaac would be free after the present year. Signed Teackel Turner 28 Jun 1801. Northampton Co. Book of Wills & Inventories No. 31 page 395.
