Abstract Joshua Sturgis entered into a bond with Betsey Rylen, then Betsey Middleton, for administration of goods and chattels of her late husband Ignatious Middleton. Since estate is not settled both Betsy and her husband Benjamin Ryley have sold Sturgis 80 acre tract called "James Delight" and Negro man Bob, man Jack, man Ralph, woman Sally, boy Cato, boy Levin, Negro Lizey, boy Boatswan, and other articles shown in a bill of sale.
