Abstract Dr. Ezekial Haynie and William Taylor swore that they were in the company together at the house of Elias Taylor on 12/13/1790 and that the said Taylor then gave a Negro girl named Leah to his daughter Nancy Taylor taking the hand of said Leah and putting it into the hand of his daughter reserving the use of the said Negro girl for the remainder of his life.
