| Abstract | Indenture of Servitude. South George (mulatto) "of his own free and voluntary will hath placed and bound himself a servant unto Jenkins Henderson to labor and work at the trade or occupation of farmer" to srve for a term of forty years. If the said Henkins should die before the term expires, then the said Southy shall serve out his term of service with Henry Jenkins Henderson the son of Jenkins Henderson and if Henry Jenkins Hendrson should die; then the term shall be served with Benjamin Henderson the son of Jenkins and if the said Benjamin should die before the end of the term of service, then the term shall be served with Peter Holland Henderson son of Jenkins and if he shall die then the term of service to belong to the executer or administrator of Jenkins Hendrson estate. |
