Abstract Thomas Dale certifies that on 28 February last that he brought a Negro girl named Elen; who is ten years old; out of Sussex County. Elen was the property of John Evans Senior of that county and by his last will and testament (dated 15 February 1791 and proven at Georgetown Delaware on 13 October 1795) bequeathed the Negro girl to Elizabeth wife of the said Thomas Dale.
