Abstract List of Slaves. List of slaves moved into Maryland by Joshua Cottingham from Delaware. Jacob, who is 30 years old was a resident of Delaware before 21 April 1783 an was removed and brought into Maryland for the purpose of working on the lands of the said Cottingham and not for sale. Jacob is the right of the said Joshua Cottingham by the will of Elisah Cottingham of Delaware. Dated 28 Januray 1798
