| Abstract | Sale & Lease of Negro. George Rosse of Snow Hill, for the affection that he has for his mother in law Elizabeth Rosse, sells to her a Negro girl named Alec (14 years old) who was bequeathed to him as a legatee of his uncle, William Allen. Also Elizabeth Rosse aforesaid for and in consideration of "my son's assumption to me this day on behalf of James McFadden of Snow Hill" leases to the said McFadden the girl Alec agreeable to the condition of bond by McFadden to George Rosse. |
