Abstract

This collection contains layouts, contact sheets, and mockups of the Evergreen Yearbook by students for the 1947, 1960, and 1998-2000 school years.

Administrative History

The Evergreen Yearbook originated in 1926 and began to spread solidarity amongst students at the Salisbury Normal School. Over the years, the yearbook featured student and faculty photographs, the numerous women's and men's sports that had been added since the school’s conception, as well as Greek Life on campus. The later editions of the yearbook display pop-culture references, clubs, and moments in the social lives of the student body. The final edition of Evergreen was published in 2002.

Scope and Content Note

This collection contains layouts and mockups of the Evergreen Yearbook by students for the 1947, 1960, and 1998-2000 school years. The yearbook proofs feature images of each year’s graduating class, clubs, and various professors around campus. Proofs and drafts also include senior surveys and superlatives. Contact sheets include photographs of various clubs and sports on campus.
