Abstract

In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents during the years of 1969 to 1973, former Salisbury University students and professors collected folk legends. For this collection, these interviews focus on various stories of the ghosts, strange events, or other supernatural legends that occurred in haunted houses on the Eastern Shore. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
