Abstract

The Eastern Shore Institute for the Advancement of Thinking was founded in 1995 "to advance education for thinking by helping educators, students, parents and community members develop an understanding of thinking in the overall teaching and learning process." The small collection consists of one folder of programs and one folder of newsletters from 1995-2007.

Administrative History

The Eastern Shore Institute for the Advancement of Thinking was intended to bring together educators, students, parents and members of the community at large to improve student performance not only in school, but also in life. The Institute coordinated resources, offering education programs, staff and technical assistance.
