Abstract

This collection contains two magazine articles dated 1872 and 1906. The 1872 article is from Scribner's March publication and is entitled "The Chesapeake Peninsula". The 1906 article is from the North American Review and is entitled "Scions of Aristocracy in America."

Biographical History

The North American Review journal was founded in 1812 by Nathan Hale and is one of the oldest public journals in United States History. Scribner's was a periodical journal founded in 1887 and published by the famous Charles Scribner's Sons publishing house.
