Abstract

This collection consists of material pertaining to Coulbourne Farm in Pocomoke. Included are photographs of the house and a gravesite of Madam Hampton and a 1906 letter dictating provenance.

Biographical History

Madam Mary Hampton (1674-1744) was the daughter of Robert King. Her family is connected to the founder of the Rehoboth Church formed in 1683. Her gravestone is prominently displayed on the Colbourne farm.
