Abstract

This book, titled Mental Photographs, is a collection of questionnaires to ask other people. The book was created in 1870, but the first entry was in 1877. Many of the questionnaires are completed by Lily Olmstead's friends.

The owner of the book is Lily Olmstead who lived in LeRay, New York. 

Scope and Content Note

This Mental Photographs Journal was compiled between 1877 and 1885 by Lily Olmstead of LeRay, New Yrok. Each "mental photograph" consists of two pages of questions and answers that offer rich personal details about the respondent. There are 20 entries including an entry by Lily. Many entries are incomplete and some are undated.
