Abstract

This collection consists of glass photo slides from the Pernia Brothers. Photographs are from trips to different National Parks, amusement parks, beaches, and gardens in the United States, as well as travels to other countries including Canada and Mexico.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of glass photo slides of Disneyland, CA, Washington DC, the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City (including photo of Olympians Tommie Smith and John Carlos raising their fists), family photos, Christmas trees and decorations, Port Charlotte, FL, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ, Shenandoah National Park, VA, Hershey Gardens, PA, Hot Springs, AR, Knott's Berry Farm, CA, Daytona Beach, FL, Canada, Tokyo, Williamsburg and Jamestown, VA, Louisiana, and Baltimore, MD. The collection also includes business cards from Pernia Brothers Photography, as well as a notebook with client appointments. 

Arrangement Statement

This collection maintains the donor's original organization. Box numbers written on the folders do not coorelate with the boxes they are currently in.
