Abstract

The Thesis of Michael James Kelly, a candidate for a Master of Arts in HIstory at the University of Maryland, is titled, Family Reconstitution of Stepney Parish, Somerset County, Maryland. Kelly utilized data from the parish registers to gather informational data on each of the families to study their vital statistics to learn about the family structure.

Biographical History

Michael James Kelly, (b. 1945), graduated from Loyola College in 1967; he would go on to the University of Maryland where he would earn a Master of Arts in American History in 1971. During his time at the University of Maryland, Kelly was a teacher at Edmondson High School, Baltimore, Maryland.
