Abstract

This collection contains a store ledger. The Ledger itself appears to belong to a man, James Stamford as that is the name on the cover page.

Administrative History

The store was located in Somerset County, near Marion.  It sold and managed farm implements.  A date several pages into the Ledger read January the 28th of 1842.  There are dates further into the Ledger that read as early as 1841 and as late as 1845.
