Abstract

This collection contains a marriage certificate for Ralph R. Brown of Deal Island and Isadora Shores of Rock Creek in 1900. Also included is Tom Price's 1959 progress report.

Biographical History

Ralph Randolph Brown (1879-1974), s/o Swiss-born Adolphus G. (ca1846-bef1930) and MD-native Louisa A (ca1847-aft1930), was an agent of the BC&A Railway Company. Isadora Shores (1881-1965) was the d/o John Williams Shore (1836-1902) and Elizabeth Cole Tigner (1844-1928). The families resided in the Tanjier District, Somerset Co, MD. Children: Elizabeth L. (b1902) and Virginia K. (b1908)
