Abstract

The multi-page booklet of the Purnell-Thomas Memorial Tennis Tournament provides information and photographs on past tournament winners and a comprehensive history of the tournament that began in the early 1980s as the Chris Thomas Memorial Tennis Tournament.

Administrative History

The Chris Thomas Memorial Tennis Tournament, now the Purnell-Thomas Memorial Tennis Tournament, is an annual event held each summer at Salisbury University to raise money for cancer care and treatment through Coastal Hospice at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
