Abstract

The folder contains one newsletter. The document showcases the last graduation from Peninsular General Hospital School of Nursing in 1978, as well as the history of the nursing program at PGH. The newsletter also contains articles about the Fire Brigade, a new CT scanner, and new location of volunteer services and pictures of an alumni picnic.

Biographical History

Lavinia Hearn was one of many nurses who graduated from the Peninsula General Hospital School of Nursing.  She was one of three adult women with children that was accepted in 1958 and did not live within the nursing school.
